The MBTA is performing track maintenance on portions of Huntington Ave. This is creating heavy traffic and delaying LMA shuttles that need to cross or drive on Huntington Ave. This primarily impacts the JFK, Ruggles and Renaissance garage routes. The work on Huntington Ave is expected to continue until December 3rd.
In addition, the Ruggles shuttles are unable to follow their normal routes from approximately 7:00AM – until 4:00PM. After leaving Ruggles station the buses will take a left onto Greenleaf Street and a right onto Ruggles Street before resuming their normal route. When returning to Ruggles Station all buses will proceed down Louis Prang Street before taking a left onto Huntington Ave.
The MFA Fenway at Museum Rd will not be serviced during this detour. Any passengers who wish to get off at the MBTA should request a stop from their driver who will stop when safe on Louis Prang St.
We are encouraging all passengers to plan extra time into their commutes and to be aware the buses may be off schedule.
